Inspired by the contemporary Caribbean lifestyle, Rhion’s creations are an effortless blend of island vibes and metropolitan flair. His looks have been donned by celebrities and masqueraders alike, gracing red carpets, stages and parade routes worldwide. In fact, it’s safe to say his famous ЯR signature has developed a cult-like following with brand evangelists known as ЯRoyals anxiously awaiting the release of his latest line to add to their collection.

At 19 he started learning the art of wire bending from the masters, and over time developed his skills in 3D foam aesthetics and sculpting. Now, 26 years later he’s the quintessential “mas man” known for producing his own costumes and influencing trends to shape the industry into what it is today. To date, his extensive portfolio features designs for ground breaking local and international Carnival bands.
Among the high profile personalities to have donned his costumes are Nicki Minaj, Amber Rose, and several Miss Universe contestants, including Miss Universe Trinidad & Tobago 2023, Faith Gillezeau. However, his body of work extends beyond carnival to include projects with global brands such as Macy’s and Disney.

As the founder of Kitanilly Designs, Nakita’s clothing brand is celebrated for its luxurious, ready-to-wear resort wear. Her career reflects her entrepreneurship, adaptability and creativity, making her a leading figure in both the fashion and carnival industries.
Now she’s bringing her talent, passion and expertise to SPIRIT Mas. Her costume, Bréa, perfectly embodies the iconic Pitch Lake; while Treya, a collaboration with Sandra Hordatt, is inspired by the culture and colours of our forefathers.

An alum of the Fashion Institute of Technology, he has successfully leveraged his bachelor’s degree in Fashion Business Management, as well as his training from the esteemed Professor Andrew Ramroop, to create his eponymous clothing line, Levi Marcus. Now, he’s making his mark as a carnival costume designer.
Recognised as much for his business acumen as his ability to create aspirational, fashion-forward products, Levi has forged his own path. To date, he has secured partnerships with major players such as Machel Mantano and Ten to One Rum. While his designs have been worn by a slew of local, regional, and international celebrities, including Ciara, Rebel Sixx, and Kes.
Beyond the world of fashion, Levi is a self-proclaimed carnival junkie and a passionate advocate for the masquerader experience. As a member of the SPIRIT design team, he specializes in sustainable costumes for men.
