The Road
Is there somewhere I can store my backpack on the road?

SPIRIT Mas doesn’t offer any facilities for backpack storage on the road or at our parks. All masqueraders are responsible for their backpacks throughout the day.

Please note, any backpack placed on a SPIRIT truck or cart is done so at the discretion of the masquerader with the understanding that there is no process in place for it to be returned to its rightful owner.

Where do I meet the band on Carnival Monday and Tuesday?

Costume Distribution
When does Costume Distribution take place?

Costume Distribution will take place at MovieTowne, POS from Monday, February 24 to Friday, February 28.

A few things to note:
- You must have your ID and a copy of your receipt with the QR code.
- Costumes can be collected on, or after, your section’s designated day.
- Masqueraders collecting on their designated day will be given priority.
- If someone is collecting on your behalf, they must be listed as the “Collector” in your Playmas profile.
- If you’re unable to collect by Friday, February 28, please contact us at info@spiritmas.com.

Can someone else collect my costume for me?

Of course! In order for someone to collect your costume on your behalf you will need to add them as the "Collector" on your Playmas profile.

Here’s how:
1. Go to “More” in the top right corner
2. Click on “My Orders”
3. Under “Collector” in the Order details click on “Change” and submit the email address of the person collecting your costume
4. The collector will receive an email confirming their status

What do I do if I missed my section's collection date?

You can collect your costume on any distribution day after the assigned date for your section. Please note however, that priority is given to masqueraders collecting on their designated day.

My costume doesn't fit, what do I do?

Our Costume Distribution Center includes a Customer Service Department that can assist you with alterations. If you are unable to visit the center on your collection date, contact our  our Customer Service hotline at 1 (868) 432-2949 for assistance.

I can no longer play mas, can I get a refund?

We're so sorry you aren't able to join us for Carnival 2025, however, as stated in our Terms & Conditions, costume sales are final and non-refundable.

I'd like to sell my costume, can SPIRIT Mas assist?

SPIRIT Mas is unable to facilitate costume resales.

I sold my costume, can I transfer the name on the costume to the new owner?
View

Yes. Once you've sold your comstume you can assign the new owner as the "Owner" on your Playmas.

Here's how:
1. Go to "More" in the top right corner
2. Click on "My Orders"
3. Under  "Owner" in the Order details, click on "Change" and submit the email address of the new owner
4. They will receive an email confirming their status

Please note that they will need to have this ID with them at Costume Distribution in order to collect your costume.

Pre-registration
I paid the $250 USD pre-registration deposit, does this money go toward my costume payment?

Yes, the $250 USD pre-registration deposit goes toward the total cost of your costume and will be deducted from your balance once you complete the registration process.

Does pre-registration guarantee me my section of choice?
View

Pre-registration allows our day-one masqueraders to secure their spot with the band for Carnival 2025 but it does not guarantee you the section of your choice. Section access will be on a first-come-first-serve basis during early registration but pre-registration guarantees you first pick. In order to increase your chances of getting into your desired section we encourage you to complete your registration as early as possible once the process opens up.

If I make the pre-registration down payment but decide I don’t want to play before open registration starts, can I get a refund?

No, as outlined in the pre-registration communication, the pre-registration deposit is non-refundable.

Registration
I already created a profile with SPIRIT Mas last year but it’s asking me to sign up to a whole new platform. Why?

In order to provide our customers with a more seamless registration process, our Carnival 2025 registration will be done via a new platform, Playmas. As such, you will need to reset your password and submit your personal information to complete your new profile.

Where can I view SPIRIT Mas costumes?

All costumes will be on display at the SPIRIT Mas campus located at 6 Nook Avenue, St. Ann's. They can also be viewed on our website.

What are SPIRIT Mas Campus opening hours?

The SPIRIT Mas Campus is open Monday to Friday from 12 noon to 5pm, except for public holidays.

How do I register for a costume?
View

SPIRIT Mas registration can only take place through Playmas, the official SPIRIT Mas registration portal. Please only use this method to ensure your registration is valid.Here's what you'll need to register:

Down payment: $2,800 TTD | $415 USD
Backpack down payment: 50% of backpack cost

When is my costume down payment due?

Costume down payments must be paid within 72 hours of confirmation of your costume selection. Failure to complete payment by this deadline will result in the forfeiture of your space in the band and any payments made thus far.

Our bottoms are available in slingshot, regular bikini and high waist cuts. The rear view options are full, cheeky, thong, and string. Sizes range from XS-2XL (click to view).

Our monokinis are available in sizes ranging from XS- XL.
BRANDED shorts

Our elastic waist shorts are available in sizes ranging from XS-3XL. Inseam lengths available are 5", 7”& 9”.

What are the payment options available for registration?

Can I change the email address attached to my Playmas account?

No, you are not able to change the email address associated with your Playmas account.

I made a mistake when submitting my costume request. Can I change it?
View

Yes, you can make changes to certain aspects of your order. Your request must be submitted via email to info@spiritmas.com by August 31.

Changes can be made to:
◆ Bra size and type
◆ Panty sizes and cut
◆ Backpacks (based on availability at the time the request is made)

Please note, section changes cannot be facilitated once an order is submitted

Can I transfer my costume ownership to someone else?

Your costume order is exclusive to your Playmas account and cannot be transferred to another person/account. If you wish, you can add someone as an “Authorized Collector” so they are able to collect the costume during Costume Distribution.

I'm offering a travel package and would like to register multiple people, is this possible?
View

We'd love to have you and your crew on the road with us for Trinidad Carnival 2024, however we do not facilitate group registration. As such, we strongly advise you and all members of your group to subscribe to our mailing list and stay tuned to our social media channels for registration updates. Alternatively, you can also secure a costume through our carnival concierge partner, Travel Haeven.

As outlined in the Terms & Conditions, costume down payments are non-refundable. If you will no longer be playing with SPIRIT Mas you have the option to resell your costume via your Playmas profile.

My costume doesn't fit, what do I do?

We apologize for the inconvenience if your costume isn't a perfect fit but, as outlined during the registration process, some of our pieces come in size ranges so minor adjustments may be required. Please contact our Customer Service hotline at +1 (868) 432-2949 or visit our Distribution Center for assistance.

Payments for your costume can be made via our online portal using your credit card. Payments at the Mas Camp-us can be made using both credit card and LINX (cash and cheques are not accepted as forms of payment).

Where do I meet the band on Carnival Monday and Tuesday?

Fatima Grounds will be SPIRIT Mas' home base on both Carnival Monday and Carnival Tuesday.

What time does Mas begin?
View

On Carnival Monday the SPIRIT Mas experience begins with an all-inclusive brunch starting at 10AM. We hit the road at 1 PM with no more stops for the rest of the day. On Carnival Tuesday we depart Fatima Grounds at 7AM to head to the Savannah Stage.
